I have acquired an LT-1 fan setup for use in another application (dual fans)- BUT, I think I may be missing a part or two:

I have the basic shroud, the surrounds for the fans, and the motors- but there are two holes in the shroud assembly- rectangular about 10" by 4" one sits in the top corner, the other in the opposing lower corner. Around these openings are holes for mounting bolts for ???

What, if anything covers/attaches in front/behind these openings? They seem a bit large to just be flow-throughs around the fans.

Any help on this would be appreciated (if it matters, it came out of a '95 Z W/AC- and the openings have no telltale dirt or wear marks to indicate anything at all was ever installed in/around them).

 

From what I recall, they are just holes. I don't remember anything in or around them.
