Are there any tricks to making your engine run cooler? My car used to run around 180 degrees all year round...Even in summer heat...then I lowered her and added some Aero enhancers. Now she is cooking herself. The car stays around the 200 range then the fans come on and she cools down between 200 and Redline I took the car to the dealer so they could scan her with the Tech 2. I thought maybe the fans had malfunctioned, but they were working properly. Then the guy told me about the car not breathing well from my newly added appearance package. The cars still running hotter than usual, and I don't want to look like nascar with Ducks swarming up into the engine bay. Is there a way to cool the engine off better? Would an Meizere or CSI water pump help? 160 thermo? I've only got about $150.00 to bang

 

Get a 160* thermostat, and a manual fan switch. Those should help it.

 

I believe you need a longer air deflector with the appearance package. Don't know who sells one. Try posting in the appearance forum.

 

I had one, but the car is so low it scrapped the ground...car became more like a Plow or something.

 

get a 160* stats, and get some one reprogram your fans. set it to turn on at 180*. that should do the trick mate
