coolent fans

I need a little help please. my son was deployed and had his 1995 Z28 Camaro sent up to us. he will be comming home soon so he wanted me to get hs car ready.
when i let it run it gets hot and the fans wont kick on. i replaced the thermstat, fuse, and all 3 fan relays. and still the same. I also pulled the air pump relay and tried turning on the ac and they still didn't come on. any help would be great.

you can get a switch to put on them and turn them on whenever you need.

Look here for some help. The a/c system must be working for the fans to come on when it is turned on.

you could also straight wire them to the fuse block and run them all the time

It's really a waste to have them on all the time. It's not necessary, wastes HP in generating the power for them and wears the fans out sooner. IMHO, there is no upside to doing that.

Are you sure both fans are functioning to begin with? You never mentioned the fans turning on for any situation. The first thing would be to test the fans to make sure they are still good.

The fuses are for the signal voltage to the relays. There is also a fusible link in the main 12V power supply to the load side of the relays. The link attaches to the red plastic "+" box on the passenger side inner fender.

Look at Shoebox's wiring diagrams.

If they come on when you jump the DLC, then the wiring and relays are all good. As described on my website, a scanner will allow you to read the temperature the PCM sees. It will also tell you if the fans are commanded on at the programmed temperature.
