Coolant sensor

Well my car hasnt been running for almost 2 months now because of the re-building.
But when it was the coolant light always came on. And the coolant was not low or anything. I've had strange problems with the coolant in the past.
Sometimes the light will actually fade in and not just come on suddenly. "weird"
So im wondering if the coolant sensor is bad??
Does anyone know the Part # for this sensor??
thanks

Re: Coolant sensor

Did you properl bleed the cooling system?

There are two bleeder valves that need to be bleed to get rid of any air in the system which would cause your coolant light to come on.

Re: Coolant sensor

Its a very common problem for the coolant level sensor to crud up and turn the low coolant light on. If you are sure the coolant level was not actually low, you could pull the sensor and try cleaning it, or replace it.
