coolant problem

coolant problem

so afr i read every tread on coolant, install new water pump, radiator cap, overflow cap, thremostat. and still have low coolant after car cools down. i check to see if head gasket was blown. checked for leaks. what else should i do? where should i look? what is next step?

you mean low coolant in the radiator or low coolant light? if its low in the radiator you need to bleed a few times and fill it and then it should be good but if the light is the problem clean it and try it but if not get a new one or just disconnect it! now as far as leaks let us know if you do have any leaks once at running temp!

i went out to check this morning, checked the bleeder and can hear air coming out. i hope this is the problem. thanks for the reply. I hate to have issue with a coolant system..

You fill and bleed the system with the engine off, after it has sat for a while. Cycle the engine a couple times from warm up to cool down. If it continues to be low after a couple of bleedings, you have a leak somewhere. Get a pressure tester to locate it.
