coolant from oil pan???
just put new heads and cam on the motor because of a head gasket prob.. when i was finishing the install up i noticed my oil plug was leakin after i put fluids in... got closer and it was antifreeze.... any ideas here?? would like to know any ideas where it can be getting in there from...

sounds like your coolent crossover tubes on the back of the head are leaking, may need new gaskets or just to tighten em.

The only way coolant can get into the oil pan would be a cracked block, a blown head gasket, or cutting into the water jackets when clearancing the block of porting the heads.
thats what i thought.. gonna change the oil and see if it happens again... new headgaskets and it ran just fine before.... had extremely high oil pressure tho before the heads and cam.... that was with the milky oil tho... not sure if the coolant got in there from removing the heads or like you said a cracked block... hope not a cracked block.... thanks
had the oil drained before opening the motor... a buddy put the plug back sometime during the install so i guess the coolant from the old heads coulda dropped in there when we were takin them off.. yes the heads are ported they are LE2's right from him...
