coolant in oil...

ok so my car has been sitting since june 19.. i had that strange really loud knocking noise, so i pulled the valve cover off and the roller rocker came off the spring and chewed up the RR... also bent the pushrod a bit. so i pulled the intake manifold off and everything looks ok.. so i ordered the parts i needed...

fast forward to today: check oil dipstick cuz im about to change the oil. oil on dipstick = black. good. i pull off oil filter. black oil. good. i then proceed to take off the oil pan screw. a WHOLE bunch of coolant comes out. not blacky coolant, GREEN coolant. after 10 seconds, a little oil comes out with it. then straight oil.

im fearing the worse. blown headgasket. along with something else i dont even know.

the intake has been off for a while, i dont know if theres any other way coolant can mix with oil without headgasket...but my car was overheating until i put more in it and yadda yadda. i thought the coolant leak was somewhere else however. so everyone in majority on headgasket?

thanks..

Re: coolant in oil...

Sounds like a headgasket sealing problem to me. BTW antifreeze isn't good on bearings.
