Converting SBC Heads

I was just wondering what is involved in converting AFR SBC Heads into reverse cooled heads that will mate up to a LT4 intake?

Re: Converting SBC Heads

Can we assume you want to use the Gen 1 heads on your LT1?

Why not just buy the AFR heads that are made for the LT1 reverse flow cooling system, and have the smaller (56cc) combustion chambers used with the LT1. The Gen 1 SBC heads are generally 68 or 78 cc combustion chambers - OK for a blower application, if that's what you have in mind.

In any case, this belongs on "LT1/LT4 Engine Tech", so I'll move it there for you.
