Converting to OBDII due to high stahl problems?

Anyone ever hear of this? I'm putting a 3200 Vigilante in my '94 Camaro, will I need to do this?

Heard of it but at least seeing IF you have the problem first is a good idea asd is trying programming fixes in the pcm you already have. Updates/tuning/ logging are all more expensive for OBD2 much more expensive.

Some have found fixes for the high stall problems with OBD-I. Check the computer/diagnostics forum.

what kind of problems do people have? My car acts a little wierd sometimes since the 3200 stall, so i wonder if that's why or if it's just a coincidence.

I have 2 PCM' s and both have no trouble with high stall after the fix from Madz. Don't change over - just get the fix.

Re: Converting to OBDII due to high stahl problems?

The issue we are talking about is that sometimes if the car hooks well it will confuse the pcm and go into a limp mode and not shift till you let off the throttle.
A high stall even without that issue can benifit from reprogramming to correect the surging and idle weirdness they can cause.

I never had a chance to try mine before we started the 383 project. Is there any performance loss for people high stall fix done through the computer? For some reason after looking over the fix I have a funny feeling there has to be some performance loss.
