Convert SBC to LT1?

How much would it cost to have a SBC head converted to be an lt1 head with reverse cooling? Any companies that can do it?

Would it be cost efficient even if done? At least cooling passages have to be modified and intake mounting holes changed.

Dude, just buy some used stock LT1 heads for $250 and save yourself the hassle of finding a shop to do it.

The conversion is around a few hunderd bucks. And totally worth it if you actually do some research and shop around.

AFR has a bunch of heads available, & now Trick Flow & Edelbrock make an LT1 head also.... out of those three companies I'd expect at least one of them has something that would work for you ?

There are other companies out there that I would like to go with, Brodix makes a 18* head with a 23* valvetrain setup. I am looking to do something a little different.

From what I understand there is only plugging of some holes and creating new ones along with the intake bolt holes..
