Compression Ratio
Go look at the compression ratio calculator linked on the "Automotive Calculations" link on this site (stickied at top of "LT1 Based Engine Tech" topic listings) , and see the other data you need to calculate the CR, like deck height, compressed gasket thickness and piston valve relief volume.
What did the tuner set it to idle at?

My car idles at about 900-1000 RPMS and I cant find the compression ratio calculator I thought it would be about stock so when i had the tuner tune it I just wrote 10:5:1, will it hurt anything if I run it like that?
It may idle at 900-1000 RPM, but what did the tuner set it to idle at? That sounds a bit high for the LT4 HOT cam on an A4.
You can't find the calculations link? There are only 4 "stickies" on the LT1 Based Engine Tech topic listing page, and this is one of them:

Im really not trying to be annoying or anything with my dumb questions its just Im only 17 and put alot of money in my car and just wanna make sure everythings so what do you think it should normally idle at? I just got a PCMforless tune and he never asked me or anything about what to set the idle at.
ASK HIM what he set the idle at. That's the expertise you paid him for. He picks the idle setting, based on his experience.
Telling him you had 10.5:1 static compression ratio probably didn't hurt anything. A scan of the PCM would be a good idea, looking for signs of spark knock retard. If the CR is appreciable above that (and it probably isn't, but that depends on the items I listed), it might have a bit too much spark advance, but if it did, you would see knock retard on your scan.
You are over-thinking this. Does it run good, or not?
