Comp XFI cam profiles
Comp XFI cam profiles
Anyone have the cam profiles for the 07-467-8 and 07-468-8 XFI Cams?
I have the 466 profile & the LE2.2 and want the other two specs so I can figure out a couple of things with dynamic compression. If no one has them today I will get them tomorrow from Comp.
TIA

Using that program at the bottom, all you need are the advertised duration, lsa and intake centerline and it will calculate the valve events for you. Then you can use it to find SCR and DCR.

Re: Comp XFI cam profiles
I'm running a Comp XFI #07-468-8, 2200-6300 RPM range (the largest of the LT XFIs, ground on a small base-lobe) in my 396 stroker and that cam is really awesome. The first time down the track it went 11.56 @ 117.41 (all N/A). Then with a little more break-in and some Sunoco 104, it went 11.22 @ 119.3 (also at a better track).
However, I now have the roll-bar issue (NHRA Rule 11.49 and below) and haven't been able to open it up again at the track. So, I've just been bracket racing in the street class and sand-bagging. Although, someone asked me a few weeks back if my car would run a 13 flat. I smiled and said, "yes it will do a 13."
Anyway, I couldn't be more happy with my XFI cam! I'm going to do a gear and slick change off season (going to 4.30s and 28" slicks) and hope to touch the 10s. Also, I'll have a Wolfe 6-point bar in the car before long.
