Comp R lifters

Will these lifters work better then a regular set of lifters for the 31xx series XE lobes? I have heard that those lobes eat up lifter.

Thanks
Jeremy

i am using my stock lifters and spin it up to 5500 rpm with the XE224/230 but the lift maxes out at around .550" i believe. a friend of mine went with stock replacement lifters and has the 230/236 with no lifter issues so far. if you are going with new lifters however then spending the extra $20? on the comp Rs probably wouldnt be a bad idea and its just extra security.

I used XE #3190/3192 (214/224, .530/.567") with stock lifters for two years. I had the rev limiter set to 6,200rpm and was usually shifting at 5,800-5,900rpm.
