the 2 cams I got recomended to me...thats all the info they will give me, haven't talked to bret as of yet.....I guess he will know what you are talking about I understand the basics but thats about it

You could get above the 12:1 range with off-the-shelf parts easily. Hell I've got 11.76:1 with 350ci and flat-top pistons...all my internals are common stuff. No exotic, one-off parts at all in my motor.
