Well I would need to have valvetrain failures to give you examples of that, but the problem is with some physics and lots of measurements I don't have that, but when a customer chooses not to run something that was not designed into the system (like cheap Pushrods) there are lots of examples and I've stated that many of times.... Problem is you never believe that so I give you another source, then you still complain and jump on my case????? Either way I don't care what you run in your tame cam, low RPM piles, your not my customer nor would I sell you anything first hand, the problem is the last thing I'm going to do is go on here and let you spread your nonsense. Are you just going to argue with me again till I prove you wrong and you walk away saying, "no I mean that these are only good for this, not what you do" tail between you legs BS that you did in the PR thread.

ROCKER STUDS, ROCKER ARMS AND PUSHRODS ALL HAVE DEFLECTION LOADS AND YOU CAN EITHER CARE ABOUT THAT AND WORK TO FIX IT OR BE A DUMMY AND SAVE YOUR $100 FOR THE BENT VALVES AND PUSHRODS YOU WILL HAVE LATER ON.

As I've told you before I understand there is deflection. My problem is when you or any other person/company claim hp gains by using a different pushrod and not give any sort of specifics as to WHERE the gain happened. Not even a junk science graph.
What's also baffling is you claiming I'm spreading nonsense? So LPE hardened pushrods that I have used for ~90K miles that have not bent nor have given me any sort of valvetrain damage is nonsense? Please spare me the fortune telling. I do believe wholeheartedly the problems others have had with pushrods, but you nor anyone should all of the sudden deem them as "junk"... Just like the Comp R thread. Low RPM pile, eh? What emissions legal cam have you designed to propel a 3750lb f-body into the 12.0 range at over 115mph? That's what I thought. However I'm sure you can come up w/ a bazillion dyno numbers.
Wow... So your only real response is to hurl lame insults? I still like you. I still think you're silly.
So basically... If I have to dumb it down for you... LPE hardened pushrods with guideplates work very well for mild applications. Why is that nonsense?

P.S. Don't worry about me ever becoming a customer. Plenty of others that have come and gone who've done the same, if not better, before you became a rock star.

Using "cheap" LPE stuff is my forte.
What exactly do you do for a living besides spend your days in the interweb avoiding questions?
I'll ask again... where was this power increase from Crane's claim?
... if only I had adjusted my rockers with .017 lash and used non cheap pushrods... just think of the possibilities...
I like you. You're silly.
I thought it was an honest question, and that maybe you knew who made them. I realize that certain products are made from a handfull of companys and then others put their name on them. I was interested in knowing who the late great John L. had faith in when it came to pushrods. How about the guideplates, are those GMPP or something else?

I don't have any idea. The guideplates I use are also from LPE. I bought a heads/cam package from them about 10 years ago where the heads were fully assembled and the pushrods were included.

Silly me, I thought you would have some kind of idea of what parts you are using in your valvetrain when you have so much to say about the subject. Live and learn I guess.

Awwww you set me up! How cute! I revert back to my original question... when you buy an aftermarket component do YOU contact the vendor and ask them who makes their products? I trusted LPE from the research I did therefore I went with what they suggested like many members do on this very sight every day. The "so much I have to say about the subject" comes from what I've done. It's not a web link. It's not a superficial claim and it's not something you or any other member has to do. It's merely a choice w/out all the superficial mojo voodoo how all products not endorsed by the rockstar himself are not as bad as the rockstar wants to make them out to be.
You a sneaky one! And yes... silly you.

SS RRR, don't take any offense and I really was hoping for some answers. But I too, like to get silly once in a while and you did give me an opening. With that said, it's not like I don't listen to what you have to say, as well as others. The thing is, we all can learn from one another as long as you don't take any one person's word as gospel.
