Part 1
hey guys i just got my car runnin after it being apart for awhile and the first night it just took it down the street and it was fine last night i started it up and was letting it idle and all of a sudden the RPMs started dropping the it wne down to like 500 RPMs (at first i thought this was the comp. adjusting to the new cam ) but then i shut it off thinking that i needed to re-adjust the drivers side valves cause it was making aloud tapping noise from that side but it was hard to tell cuz the header gaskget needs to be replaced on the same side. so this morning i went out there popped off the drivers side valvecover to check all the Rockers arms and there all tight. they were noisy so i thiught that they had worked themselves loose but thats not the case, when i try to start it up she just turns but won't catch at all. then i thought may its a comp. prob so i disconnected the battery for a few mins. and tried it again and the same thing! I DON"T GET THIS CAR!!!! all the vacum hoses are hooked up, its got a brand new opti, its got 1/2 tank of gas, the batt is brand new WTF!!!!!!!! one other werid thing the first night i took it down the street and brought it back she was heating up and i shut her off and just coasted in the drive wasy and noticed the speedometer was pegged out to 150mph! the heating up past was my fault, and i have since taken care of that but everything else is really "F'ing" with my head!....i think im gunna go and get alittle foxbody 5.0!!

Part 2
i did a few things since then but none seem to have worked, i disconnected the pos. terminal and with the neg. terminal still connected to the battery touched them to clear the whole computer: nothing same thing, the i check all my spark plugs to make sure they weren't fouled out: nothing again they're fine, then i thought well maybe its the injectors, so i took a test light to #2 and #4 and they have power, so now im down to three last things... etheir since my speedometer is pegged out @ 150mph maybe (abnd i doubt it) but it has something to do with my gas gauge and may be the tank is completly empty, evan though it reads 1/2 tank, or its my ignition module, which i check with my work (Autozone) and as luck may have it we can't check those ones and my last resort is to take out a spark plug have someone try and crank it over just to confirm that i am getting spark.... so im up for anyother suggestions or hints/tips

and just tonight i check to see if im getting any spark and i am so my coil and ignition module are good, could something have happened to my speedometer gauge and my fuel gauge and maybe im just out of gas cuz this thing seems to have every one stumped!?!?!
