Comp Cams and Crane Rev Kits?

With that kind of seat pressure on anything less than a 2.100 SS valve will be fine. Your 170 will turn into 150 after break in but that is on the upper scale of seat pressure for a hyd cam.

Also, do you feel the $100 extra cost for titanium retainers is worth the cost over the steel ones?
Thank you for the help!
Re: Comp Cams and Crane Rev Kits?
No, you don't need a rev kit.
Better lifters would always be a plus, Morel's are my first choice.
The Ti retainers help lower the mass even more, they are expensive but they do help gain that extra little bit in durabilty, valve control and RPM.

)At least now I don't have to wait for a rev kit to be shipped to me, and I can get my heads and intake sent out right away. Maybe I can put the Morel's on lay-away.
Anything that is going to make the motor durable, I'm for.

BTW: I saw tons of people use rev kit and this is the first time I see the damaged engines by rev kit..

"Tons of people"may not know they have a problem. How many ya know that have torn their engine down to see if there is a problem and if there was, did they figure out what caused the problem or could it be they blamed it on something else,ya just never know. Like I said 2 engines was enough for me,and I didn't find the problem right away,it took several days of looking and inspecting to find it.
