Comp Cam Pro Mag 1.6 RR's
Are The Comp Cams Pro Magnum 1.6 Rati orocker arms (p/n# CCA-1302-16) Self Aligning or Non Self Aligning. I cant find it on their website, on jegs, or on summit. If they are SA, whats the part number for NSA, and whats the part number for the guide plates I will need. Thanks!

Be sure you change your valve springs if you still
have the stock ones. The exhaust is too close for
comfort with the addition of 1.6s. I used the GMPP
LT4 Hot springs cause they were cheap.
Actually if you see yourself adding more mods down
the road you should move to a spring that will take
you to that point and save a lot of installation time.
I was not smart enough to do that so I now need to
install a second set of springs to match a new cam.

Use GM guideplate p/n 14011051 if you are using regular LT1 heads. You will need 8.

I don't think (correct me if I am wrong) '96 Camaros use guide plates. I know my '97 doesn't. If you want to use guide plates, you have to get your heads machined to make room for the guide plates.

No head machining is required for guideplates on LT1 heads.
