Comments and thoughts on LCA relocation brackets

Think about the function of the LCA... it is the only thing pushing the car body forward in response to the forces developed at the tire patch. Put the axle connection below the level of the body connection, and the forces in the LCA lift the body and force the tires down = traction. Locate the axle connection above the body connection (or have it reach this position as the body squats on launch) and the forces in the LCA push the body down, and lift the axle... tires lose traction.... forces disppear... tires regain traction and the whole thing starts all over again = wheel hop.
Good idea for a lowered car, or for one that isn't lowered, but is putting decent power to the rear wheels.
Adjustable LCA
I bought the Spohn adj LCAs and weld-in relocation brackets as a kit, but I don't understand why the LCAs are adjustable. Could someone help me with this? I have them set to the stock length. If I am supposed to adjust them, how do I do it? Where do I measure from? Why am I adjusting them? So forth. Thanks much.
