Combination Motorsports stage 2 intake ports vs. stock intake manifold ports...
I've had my Combination Motorsports Stage 2 heads for a little over 3 years now. The car has done very well with them, and now I'm swapping to a new cam.
I don't know about you guys... but I think the stock intake could use a little porting...

You'll notice that the cylinder heads have a little material left on them on the outside rim of the ports... but when you see the ports in person, it's pretty clear that if they cut them any farther out they would probably break the wall of the port. In person, the transition is graceful and smooth. A well-done set of heads.

usually for someone to go past stage 1 they port the intake to match the gaskets as well. for max airflow and velocity you'll need to do so. you're going to get turbulance otherwise.

I bought some CM stage 2 LT1 heads about 3 years ago and I remember the portwork did look good. Lloyd said they appeared to be CNC'd and then touched up by hand.
But that damn Seth never did send the flow chart.
