Cold air MAF

A lot of after market MAF's have a special option for cold air tuning. What does this do? And does this mean the stock MAF should be tuned if I put a cold air intake on?

Re: Cold air MAF

There is not one good aftermarket MAF for these cars you are infinetely better doing things through the pcm. IF you experiance and throttle tipin bogs or the like after the CAI install then get your pcm reprogrammed and it will fix the problem.

Some other cars have less accessible pcms and screwing with sensors and regulators becomes best they can do for tuning, for us though the pcm is very easily accessed and will always give better results.
