Which Cold Air Intake?

I am wondering which/if any cold air intake is better than the others. The ones I am looking at are listed in Summit in the $200 range. The 3 I am looking at are made by K&N, Moroso, and SLP. I would think they are all 3 reputable brand names but would like the input of people who have done it before.

Thanks in advance.

Buy the Lingenfelter one. Its 40$ cheaper ... AND has a BIGGER K&N Filter then the K&N FIPK does. SLP uses two small K&N's ... I personally dont like the design. I've never seen the Moroso one in person so maybe someone else will chime in. However ... I do know for a fact that the Lingenfelter one is designed as well/better than the K&N FIPK. My friend has the K&N one on his, and my filter is a way bigger K&N then his is . And I spent 40$ less. The actually tubing of it is nearly identical.

Lingenfelter's web site says they even had a 12RWHP gain on a otherwise bone stock LT1 Camaro ... Could be bull ****, but its a nice CAI, and their a reputable performance shop. I strongly suggest theirs over K&N's ... Bigger Filter, Easier on the Wallet.

They all work the same and the hp gains will be very similar. Its just up to you on which one you want to blow your cash on. I went with the Moroso cause it was the cheapest and it does the job. I would try to stay away from the G2 conversion. All the ones you mentioned are good choices, they just vary in price and looks but performance is right there with each of them.

I just went and looked at the Lingenfelter site. I think that is the one I'll go with when the funds become available.

I have one in the for sale section(Moroso). Has 1,500 miles on it. Just look up my user name there. The thing still looks brand new. Let me know.
