I bought a Lingenfelter recently, and I'm happy with it. It's cheaper than most of the others, has a very large filter, and made a noticable gain. I also trust Lingenfelter's engineering prowess, just look at the awesome tuner cars they build.

hey, glad to hear your getting your cai. your definitely moving into the right direction as far as your beggining mods. getting more air is a good direction. however, i wanted to be the first one to warn you to be careful the first time you drive it after the transition! your car will be a new beast. i think you should easily be getting about 40hp out of it. ...

...okay, i'm full of crap. your more realistically looking at about 5hp. as far as rubbing under the hood? i'm not familiar with that brand. i have the moroso cai with the vortech elbow and it rubs. nothing too serious yet. i just dont want it rubbing a hole into the cai. so anyways, have fun. the air flow definitely sounds better if anything.

Re: Cold Air Intake

goof for you man. u cant beat it trust me. i have had mine on since last year aruond early october and it is excellent. definately a SOTP performance gain. plus it hisses when ur car is running and if u have an m6 like me and blip the throttle a lot u can hear it suck in the air. pretty cool if u ask me. cleans up the engine bay in the front a lil bit too. ull enjoy it and its an excellent price.
