I have a 1997 camero z28 and its reading a code p1441 which is a Evaporative Emission System Flow During Non-Purge...
what could be casuing this

 

There's a flow detector switch (#11 in this diagram - http://shbox.com/1/1996_evap.jpg ) . It is sensing a vapor flow/vacuum, when the EEC purge solenoid (#7) is supposed to be closed. Either the EEC purge solenoid is stuck open, or the flow switch is faulty.
