code 64 right o2 sensor reading lean
Just finished adjusting my 1.6 rockers and now I have a code 64, Could this be from a misadjusted rocker?
It seems to run ok until the car starts to warm up then it backfires and then I get code 64 on right side, It is backfiring through the exhaust, not the intake, so I would think the rockers are adjusted ok, Need help not sure what to check next.
BTW, I just finished a head and cam swap, have long tubes, all bolt ons, elect water pump, etc.
Thanks!

Scan it an check your o2 sensors, maybe a bad wire or a faulty o2 sensor itself. If your rockers are not adjusted properly and you dont have complete burn in the cylinder or a miss-fire you will run lean on 1 bank. Double check your valves and check wires and plugs. The o2 sensor only cares about oxygen not fuel. So no BURN means high oxygen and a lean code for that head.
Hope that helped a little..
p.s If it runs lean the injectors dump more and more fuel to try to compensate then you foul out the plugs and it will run even richer untill the thing wont even run, so fix it soon before that happens..
