Unhappy Code 48

Well i went to start my car up from winter storage and 1st the battery was dead. Than i got the car running and the service engine soon light can on and i check the scanmaster and it came up with a code 48. I noticed that the MAF had 00 the whole time it was running and the fans where both on. Than i turned the car off and started it back up again and the SES light was gone & the MAF was moving know a little but the code still there.

What could be wrong? wiring, maf

Even if you correct the problem (or it corrects itself) the code remains "stored" until you clear it (remove power from the PCM, or reset it with a scanner), or until the car is driven for a number of "drive cycles" without the problem showing up again.

What does "moving know a little" mean? Is it showing the correct GPS air flow or isn't it? If it doesn't appear right, check the MAF... maybe some mice built a nest in the intake while it was in storage..... .

Injuneer for the maf readings it only went to 06 on the scanmaster. Hopefully you are right maybe a mouse made a a home in there.
