Ok, I fixed the ground, and the 'real' knock sensor wire. I started the car up, still had the same problem of not staying running, but the SES light didn't come on. (which means Code 43 IS fixed, which is GREAT).

Next question, when I do Freescan on my car, what things do I need to look at to figure out why the car is back firing so bad? I went ahead and drove it around the block and it really had issues with the higher RPMS and then it also had a lot of backfires(loud banging).
