Ok,i got the opti signal issue checked like SHOEBOX said and couldn,t find anything wrong(leaking w/p,loose wires,corrosion,etc.)I cleared the code,car ran good for a day,then drove again and again i felt a misfire 3x ,each time after i stopped and then drove again.The problem isn,t fuel related and is intermittent(once chk engine comes on it doesn,t misfire again,only when i stop and restart!I am probably going w/a MSD opti seeing that i have a MSD 6a,wires,and upgrading w/their coil also,which model no.do i need 8381 or83811?Also i ran my car at the strip recently b/f the code36 apperared and my best 60ft was 2.03 which seems to be similiar to GM HIGH TECH 94 formula,but my 60ft should have been better but w/ a failing opti i am probably getting a bog/misfire etc,but b/c i have 3.23 gears it,s not as noticeable.Any people that have the MSD OPTI please chime in and how will it work w/my otherMSD equipment?Thanks for any replies.
