my 93 z28 has been idling like crap since it got cold out and it is throwing a code 23... anyone know what that means? i think it has somthing to do with the intake. and i noticed that the throttle body gasket has a small split in it, could that cause it idle crappy? any help is appreciated

 

DTC23 = Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor circuit (signal voltage high, low temperature indicated)

Check the sensor in your intake elbow.

 

how would i check it? should i just replace it? cost estimate if u have any idea? thanks alot
