Code 16, low res opti. But I have spark at the plug??

I bought a ScanMaster to scan my codes (among other things)

The car WILL NOT START. It used to run but REALLY rich. Eventually it just would not start.

It has a new coil, plugs, wires, ICM. Fuel pressure checked out OK.

I initially got a DTC 48,18,16. I plugged the MAF back in, put the injector fuses back in, and reset the computer.

No codes. After cranking awhile I get the code 16 back.
BUT the plugs will fire a decent blue looking spark.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH THIS STUPID THING!!!!!!

Thanks for any help!

Two KEY things throw me off.

#1. Supposedly a code 16 will shut down the fuel system. Put my fuel system is NOT shutdown. I have too much fuel.

#2. I still have spark at the plug.

You can still have spark at the plug, but the thing won't start. Threw me off beore. The optical sensor keeps our timing and stuff too so it could throw all kinds of stuff off. I bet it's the opti.

Try using a different coil and see what happends...

I did an opti install and then the car still wouldnt start..swapped coil and "walla" it started
