code 13
car was throwing a code 63 as well...i put 2 new bocshe heated o2 sensors in it and now the 63 is gone but the 13 remains...the next thing i tried was replacing the TPS which was worn out and wasnt working anymore and this didnt fix it either.....i wonder if i were to switch back to single wire o2's if it would help...??
any adive would be GREATLY appreciated at this point this has been a year long problem almost and i cant get my car inspected at this point because of it.

13 and 63 are for opens in the O2 sensor circuits. Better check continuity/power to the sensors.
Guess you had another code for the TPS, because neither of those mentioned have anything to do with that.

What's the advantage of putting heated O2 sensors ??
I have heard that using only Delco O2 sensors gives you the best results,, I have changed both mine and with Delco,, SES light went off and stayed off. It was throwing a code 13 at that time too.

Sometimes I don't pay attention to well.
I now notice that you have a 1993 and you said you put heated O2s in it. That is not going to work unless you also rewire to accomodate them. If you don't want to do that you need to put the original type O2s in there.
I believe the purpose of the heated O2s was to get them into the loop sooner so the readings could be available to the pcm sooner for emissions reasons.

the heated o2's work fine...im pretty positive i wired them correctly. i used a guide that i got a link to from this web site. im still considering switching back to the single wires, however...whenever i took it to the last shop they claimed to have tested the continuity of the wire and said they were ok..i dont know if i believe them though.
