I have been reading up on the fact that the fans come on as a result of the ses light coming on. I have just got a cable to scan and tune my 95 z I tuned out all the other non essencial codes like air and such but now there is one more code left and that is 11 for the accual light itself (don't ask me why they made a code for that.) But I was wondering if there is any way to retune the pcm to stop showing that code. I want the fans to work right withou having to take the whole dash apart tomorrow. Is there a way??

 

Why don't you just jump the relay under the hood and have them run all the time? There's no power loss and the engine runs cooler. Just an idea I have the jumper numbers if you decide to.

 

actually I did that since I got the car last year but now one of the fans squeek and I finally have a way to have them come on when they are supposed to. Plau at high speeds the fans can get in the way.
