Are Coated Headers Worth it?

definatley get the coated.. I have a friend that did not get coating... and after a few months..
mine with coating look brand new!
But you say looks don't matter, well, it also wil be a LOT cooler which will give you more power.

Speed Inc in Schaumburg IL will coat shorties for $160; excellent results. Definately need to do this for underhood heat concerns.

Less people have problems with the hookers then the jethots from what I have read on here.

I didnt want the egr, or the air. so I would have has to plug them on the jet hots.

and 18 guage and not 16... damn might jsut have to take that weight savings. I dont see what the problem is with 18? more then thick enough.

This thread wasnt about Jet Hots or Hookers, I picked Hookers, as I wanted the originators of them not hte Jet rip off of them.



Thanks for the input guys, I'm going to have the coated. They said they can make it look like Gun Metal metalic too, instead of the polished look
