To add to that. The Vortech kits come with a t-trex and an fmu, so on low boost levels the stock injectors will supply enough fuel. Fuel really isnt the issue. As said above the 10:4.1 compression is extremely high for a boosted motor without forged internals, even at 6 psi. Mine lasted about 2k miles even with an aftercooler. Thats not saying that all are like that b/c there are some board members who are still on a stock bottom end with moderate boost levels. If you are an m6 car then yes your rear will be a problem, for the a4 guys it seems like they hold pretty good until you get deep into horsepower. Any blower combo will need to be forged eventually, some sooner than later.

LOL! You hit the nail on the head there! These cars are set up pretty well for the stock amount of horsepower, but not much else.

my friends 91 vette (stock) would beat me EVERY TIME and my car was about a second faster than his in the 1/4
