Clutch slipping, all parts that i need include?

Clutch is slipping badly. What are all the parts i need to replace this. Pilot bearing, throwout bearing, and pressure plate? I am looking into the SLP clutch for 249. Is that all i need to order, is that one part to replace the clutch?

your going to need to resurface that flywheel as well, the SLP kit should be all you need.

Just curious, is a pilot bearing necesary? Just curious becuase I'm about to tackle this and I've got everything but that.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could let me know.

Pilot Bushing or Bearing
Clutch Disc
Clutch Pressure Plate
Resurface Stock Flywheel or Buy a new aftermarket piece..
Clutch alignment tool

and you should do your rear main seal while the tranny and stuff is out...

The slp disc/prssure plate combo comes with the throwout bearing.. I just had this combo installed monday with the stock flywheel resurfaced... Seems a lil more aggresive then the stock unit, but then again my clutch was slippin for 9 months, i put 200 miles on it so far and it feels really good, pulls good. havent beat on it yet though, 300 miles to go...

Thats all you should need for you clutch install though...

Good luck and ask questions if you need any more help...

i wouldnt say its needed but if it were me I'd replace it, its a 5 dollar part at any local parts store.... its insurance for the input shaft of the tranny... just go to the parts store bud...
