I am looking for a new car and i found a 95z with 6 speed cc306 and 1.6rr plus alot of bolt ons. The cars has a stock bottom end and he says at wot he shifts at 6500rpm is that to high for a stock bottom end? The revlimiter is set at 7000 rpm is that to high? Also i know nothing about 6 speeds but he says that 5 gear pops out but if you hold it in 5th and let the clutch out it is fine is that something to worry about?

 

Im not sure if that's too much for the stock bottom end i shift around 5800 - 6000. I also don't have a cam and some cam's make power in the higher rpm's. i'll let some other guys answer on that one.

As far as the 5th gear popping out i think that's your syncro's <sp> not sure on how much they cost to fix.
