Re: clutch problems...

been there done that. dont know what happen. but all you have to is pull the tranny out, unblot the clutch fork off the tranny take it to a grinder and grind about a 1/8 in off of it, put lock tight on the bolt and put it back in. it will move the clutch fork closer to the tranny and it wont grind anymore. its worked for me for a while now.

then again it just may be loose and you need to tighten the bolt back up.

Re: clutch problems...

yeah the bolt was loose, probably about 1/4 inch or so out!

my main concern though is, why wouldnt the pedal push in? i drove it about 10 miles on the interstate and when i went to exit, i pushed on the pedal and it was like pushing on a wall! wouldnt even budge...

i coasted off the exit and came to a damn red light and had to stop. still wouldnt push in so i pushed real hard and something broke loose. then it started going in WAY to easy. if it wasnt for the light i could have made it home without the clutch but i had to call a wrecker...

but like i said, i wonder why the pedal wouldnt push in?
