Baseline RWHP '94 six spd vs. Hot cam, SLP & PCM
Baseline RWHP '94 six spd vs. Hot cam, SLP & PCM
Does anyone have actual wheel dyno data from a stock LT1 six speed Z-28? I am installing the Hot Cam kit, SLP headers and PCM re-programmed by PCMFORLESS. I plan to get it on the dyno after mods. but I did not do a baseline dyno run. The car has low miles, 29K, engine in excellent condition so I hope it will withstand the extra stress. If anyone has dyno results with the same set-up I am installing, please tell me what I can expect.
I am looking for excellent driveability, minimal low end torque loss and increased mid-range power 2000-5500rpm. Will stock injectors provide adequate fuel delivery?
Your input and experiance is appreciated!

My buddy put down i think 47 more RWHP with that setup on an auto with ion tuning. it is a good set up i just think if your doing a cam go a little bigger. But that cam works and that is alll that counts
good luck
Oh yea he had 80,000 miles on the clock. and i gained 54 rwhp off just a 224-230 cam with 115,000 miles.

An M6 LT1 should put down somewhere around 250rwhp stock, + or - 5rhwp. I made the #'s below with the HC kit and the same mods you mentioned although I have most of the other usual boltons too. Stock injectors are fine with the hotcam, I'm still using them. Its not a big cam but there is some low end torque loss with it, but it definitely has great midrange power increase though
