Clutch Experts - Please help!

I ve got a M6 in a 95 Z28 and last year I changed the clutch, release bearing and slave. Last week I started the car and heard a ginding when the clutch was pressed. Took it to another Tranny shop and was told the last place did not put a thread lock slealent on the boolt that holds the fork to the bearing (or some bolt) and the fork was moving back and making contact with the fly wheel and pressure plate. He said that the bearing was damaged but to save me some coin they straightend it themselves and that the pressure plate had several nicks and scraps by rubbing the fork, but on the back side of it. Buttoned everything back up and I have the following problems:

1) A chatter off the line. Even though the clutch has 10k Miles it feels like it has 100K. It felt good before this problem.
2) A vibration at the top of the clutch. Just standing still if you put your foot on the pedel you feel a little vibration.
3) You can feel a resistance or at least some motion in the pedal when pushing the clutch down (at least when the car is moving). In stead of a smooth motion you feel some roughness.

What the heck is going on.

The tranny guy said that even though the pressue is ok on the side meeting the disk and fly wheel it could be off balance or something. Im thinking it may be the release bearing that is not perfectly straight, or do I just need to machine the fly wheel.

Any expert advise would be a hughe help. It iss going under the knife on Tuesday and I need to know what to expect.

Thanks very much.

Not a lot of responses here on Advanced Tech. You need to post LT1 questions on LT1 Tech. Moving it there......

been there done that.. you most likely just fubared the balance of the pp.. If the bearing was damaged it should have been replaced.. IMHO.. i don't see why the fork would have been bent... its a pretty stout piece.....

Does that mean the PP needs to be replaced?
