Check Engine Light
Ok I got it checked guys and it was O2 sensor(left one) and was running lean. it was also EAS thing. I was reading online to find a cheap one and on auto zone and advanced websites it says u need 2, but I just need one right? How long will it take me to fix?
Trouble code and fan
You are not having a problem with the check engine light, but a trouble code that it is trying to tell you about. You must use a scanner to retrieve the code. A paper clip will not work on 1994 and later.
BTW, the fans come on with most trouble codes, so that is why you hear it. Get it scanned and find out what the issue is.

I have been having trouble diagnosing a trouble code on my 93 Z28, and part of the problem is relating it to the fan coming on. Am I to understand that the fan coming on may not be related at all to the trouble code? My trouble code (26) says it is the EVAP purge solenoid. Is there a reason the fan would come on, but perhaps not be related to the actual problem?
The fans come on when the trouble code comes up?

Quad-Driver Module (QDM) #1 circuit applies to:
- AIR pump relay circuit
- EGR solenoid
- EVAP solenoid
I'm really not sure that all SES/codes lights turn on the fans. But a blown fuse for the AIR pump relay circuit is the most common problem that does turn the fans on.

Hey guys I had a blown fuse for the air pump and I changed it and the light is off. The trouble codes for the car were 13, 29, and 44. But no more light and the guy at advanced said they couldnt test it when light is off. So could it just have been that fuse making the O2 sensor code come up too?
If that's the description of DTC 26 you found, you're using the wrong code list. That's only for 94-95 models. The 93's have their own codes lists, reflecting some of the differences in the 93 ECM. DTC 26 is for (from Shoebox's LT1 code list):
