cheapest place for GM optispark?
Re: cheapest place for GM optispark?
If I had to buy one, I would get the MSD unit from Summit Racing or maybe Jegs. You get the vent upgrade with these plus they are listed for a cheaper price than the GM non-vented units last time I checked.

Chandler is NOT OEM. The lowest OEM price I found so far is gmpartsdirect.com. $431.60
Way too many people have problems with MSD.
You may consider just the cap and rotor if you have no issues with oil leaks. I had great results from this:

The 2 opti's are different. the early model(non-vented) one is spline driven, and the later model(vented) one is pin driven. I bought the vented one from O'reillys for around 100 bucks, with a lifetime warranty.
