But when in closed loop it will idle fine and everything, so i am trying to get it to stay in closed loop as much as possible, and for me that mean heated o2's. Also how can i get ahold of jason cromer?
Here is what I used:
GM 3-wire O2 sensor 25312185GM $37
GM 3-wire sensor adapter harness "connector" 12117025 $13

Prices are from Dal.

The weather pack harness enables one to use a GM 3-wire sensor without cutting and spicing into the sensor wiring. It is not required but I like it for easy future sensor replacement. This harness has three long leads to help with the connections. I used Posi-Lock fittings to connect everything along with an in link fuse for protection. Be certain to use power on when key is switched to ign.

FYI - 4 wire O2 sensors provide a ground for both the sensor and heater seperately.

1 wire - signal, grounds through the manifolds.
3 wire - signal, heater positive, and a ground for the heater.
4 wire - signal, signal ground, heater, heater ground.

Advantage of the 4 wire being that if the threaded bung in the header/manifold gets rusty/corroded, you still have a good ground for the signal.
