Cheap Modded Dyno Numbers!

Just got back from the dyno shop a little bit ago. I laid down 276.6 RWHP with 316.2 RWTQ. I was wondering what everyone thought of these numbers. I had to get it dynoed before my cam and headers and PCM got here. I have all the freemods with a K&N filter, LT4 KM, 1.6 rockers, Flowmaster Catback, And other small mods. Otherwise stock with 106,000 miles. Its a 97 trans am with the 6 speed. He said some of the graphs were showing knock or misfire and I think I have some loose spark plugs. Who knows? Let me know what you think?

I would also check your OPTI right away, if you are showing some miss, its probably the OPTI. Those are decent numbers, but i bet with a new OPTI you get a little better.

Thats what the dyno shop said. But i also know i had a really bad miss and checked my plugs and 3 of them were loose. I tightened them up and it went away for several weeks and now the miss and hesitation is back so im thinking just loose plugs. But it may be the opti. Ill see when i put the headers on if the plugs are loose or not.

Your hp is about average but your torque #'s look good for your mods.

Thanks. My air fuel was pretty rich at 12.2 and i had the bad hesitation so i think there is so more left in it. But i will fix all problems when i do the cam and headers so numbers should really go up!

if your at 106k than an opti along with the cam may be very benefical. it would be a good idea.

If you're doing the cam, you may as well throw on a new Opti while you've got everything apart. Make sure the dowel is set correctly on your cam or you'll be replacing the Opti anyway.

Boo-Ya
beat you by .2 hp and 1.5tq. My car (back then) would soooo own yours! jk man. Looks good, i only linked that because they are so darn close in #.

I had a slightly different setup, no RR, but very similar, here.

Your looking at ~330 rwhp with the 224/230 depending on the full package.
