well for some reason while goign down the highway my car for some reason died out and wouldnt start. It was acting like a dead battery. So i had the battery and alt tested and both are fine. I noticed while taking the battery off that there was a good amount of corrosion on the positive clamp. when it stalled i did have ac/radio on and i havent turned either on since i clead the terminals and charged the battery but i dont want this to happen again so i guess ill see tommoorrow but so far so good. So my question is if it isnt the bat or alt im guessint the some how the power is going from the alt to the bat for some reason and im not sure exactly what to look for. any input is appreciated thanks.

 

Don't know if it was your problem or not, but corrosion or loose terminals can cause similar symptoms to a dead battery.
