Exclamation Changing plug wires......

How long should I block a time for this? I have heard about an hour for the driver and three hours for the pass. Is there anything that I have to look out for?

Re: Changing plug wires......

It depends how the wires were routed the last time the wires were changed. Sometimes they are routed really bad so its a pain to get them right. Its a learning experience, just make sure that the wires aren't close to your exhaust manifolds or the wires might arc.

cant say for sure but when i had my 95z i did the plugs and wires it took me about 7hrs, with a couple breaks in between. changing just the wires shouldnt be too much of a task, but for a first timer ide say maybe 2hrs ?

Don,t underestimate the time it will take if this is your first time changing plugs and/or wires.
It took me 2 days the very first time I did it. One side each day.
It gets easier each time you do it and now with no AIR, EGR, or AC I can change plugs and wires in about an hour, I have LTs as well.
