Changing Diff Fluid

I changed the Gear out to a 3.73 and it is about the time to change the fluid, what is the ezest why to go about doing it and what is the best Fluid to use?

i read on the board a couple days ago that people use Honda ATF fluid and GM posi lube.

You're kidding right?
Can you post a link to that posting?
Honda ATF as I recall is for the T56..
I sure wouldn't piut it in MY rear!
I have Mobil 1 GEAR OIL, and GM limited slip additive in mine..

Use 90W or 80-90W GL5 with the posi lube. Also, get a gasket, and do not use silicone! Just clean the surface of the diff and the cover, put on the cover and gasket, tighten it down nice and snug (gasket will not squish) and you'll be set.
