Changed intake. . .now oil pressure problem

I removed my intake and had it, along with some other stuff, powder coated. Yesterday when I took it for a ride the oil pressure was good and then began to drift down until it reached 20 and stayed there. Today I started it and the pressure went up to about 50 or so and then slowly moved down. I didn't wait for it to go all the way to 20 before I shut it down. I don't know that I did anything to the oil system so does anyone have any ideas as to what could be happening???

Are the oil pressures you are quoting at idle, or at some other RPM? Is it possible you damaged the oil pressure sending unit? Is it possible you dropped some debris into the liver valley?

The oil pressures are at both idle and running. When I took it for a ride it had good oil pressure and the longer I drove it the lower it got until it bottomed out at about 20. I doubt it's the sending unit because I have a mechanical oil guage as well as the original one and both have the same readings. If it was debris - and I tried to be very careful - what would be the best way to check or clean it out?
Thanks
