Centerbolt Sheet Metal Valve Covers
Im am going to purchase a set of Centerbolt Sheet Metal Valve covers but I was curious do they make any of them centerbolt without the notch on the front for the alternator because Im not putting the bracket or anything back on. I relocated my alternator to the bottom of the motor. Also which brand is best for clearance for my pro mag 1.6's

I was looking at this summit brand but where do I fill the oil in from because theres no filler neck or no rubber grommet on the back like the stock ones for that vent line..

I've been looking at the same ones. There are no holes because you have to drill your own holes for the breather and pcv. No fill. You can have a fill cap welded into them or just put the breather in a spot that will allow you to remove it to put the oil in.

I think Im going to order these sets off ebay. They make a breather that is double o ringed so it wont leak and then you can just pull the breather cap out to fill with oil. But then Ill still need to drill a hole for the pcv line right? Is the pcv even needed?

with the breather, no PCV air tube is needed(the valve is mounted in the intake)

So the pcv pipe that runs to the intake is pretty much just a ventalation? So the breather will take its place so I wont need it at all anymore? Could I just put like a pipe plug in the intake instead of that barbed fitting the hose hooked to?

The line from the throttle body to the valve cover provides the filtered fresh air that the PCV valve vacuum pulls through the crankcase. If you delete the line, you can plug up the hole if you add a breather somewhere else. Works fine on the speed-density 93's, but creates the equivalent of a small vacuum leak on the MAF engines.
