Question cc503 cam swap parts list help

I've decided to put a cam in my stock '96 LT1 as a project (I don't drive much these days, def. don't race) and am looking to build a parts list so I can get everything ordered. I ordered the cam last week since lead times appeared to be several weeks, now looking to build the list of other components. I've searched around and seems like a lot of the part numbers people have mentioned in the past are not available or have been replaced by other parts.

Wondering if anyone can point me to a more current list with part numbers to cut down on the already limited time I have these days. I'm keeping the heads stock for now, here's a quick list of some of the components I'm looking to pickup, let me know if I should add to the list:

1.6 roller rocker (input needed: SA 3/8" is probably fine for what I need, probably set the rev limiter to ~6200rpm but I'm not really worried about cost much so if NSA w/guide plates and/or 7/16" makes sense with this cam and rev limit then so be it)
ARP rocker studs and nuts
valve springs
vale spring locks
valve spring locators
valve spring retainers
valve seals
roller lifters
hardened pushrods (not needed if not going NSA? 7.2" or measure?)
timing chain (just the chain or set?)
gaskets (intake manifold, timing cover set, wp, valve covers)
opti
tune (any recommendations for people doing them these days? already swapped in an OBDI PCM to make this part easier when I get to it)

Thanks

Do you have the specs on the cam? I did a mail order tune and just downloaded it from my computer. I've seen where you can swap your computer for one with a tune already on it. Not sure what people are doing now. I did it a long time ago.

Yeah, sorry cam part number is 07-503-8.

I'm planning to pay for a tune and then use a laptop with cable to write it to the PCM. I've already got an ODBI PCM that I added a resistor to so I could use the stock knock sensor, and I've already modified a stock tune and flashed it. Just need to find someone to send me a good base tune based on my mods, once I get to that point.

Thanks.

Re: cc503 cam swap parts list help

Spent some time going through old threads and researching for current part numbers. Seems these days this info isn't as easy to come by or parts are not as readily available, potentially partially related to the pandemic. In case someone's in the same boat in the near future, here's my parts list.

Cam - COMP Cams Xtreme Energy 07-503-8
1.6 roller rockers - decided to go NSA: COMP Cams Ultra Pro Magnum Rocker Arms CCA-1605-16
ARP rocker studs - 134-7103
Guide plates - Trick Flow Pushrod Guide plates TFS-30400623-8
hardened pushrods - Going to confirm length with Comp cams Pushrod measurement tool 7702-1 before ordering
valve springs - COMP Cams Beehive CCA-26918-16
valve locks - COMP Cams Super Valve Locks CCA-614-16
valve spring locators - COMP Cams Valve Spring Locators CCA-4705-16

valve spring retainers - COMP Cams Steel Valve Spring Retainers CCA-795-16
valve seals - Fel-Pro FEL-SS72861
roller lifters - AC Delco LS7 lifters 12499225
timing set - Cloyes single roller CLO-9-3157
gaskets - Valve covers: Fel-Pro VS50088R, Intake manifold: Fel-Pro MS95580, Timing cover and WP: Fel-Pro TCS45956

Still need to sort out tuning.

Can you explain this a bit more in detail? I too, have a 1996 car that I am looking to do this very same mod to, only I need more info on that resistor you mentioned, and how to go about doing it. What year car is your PCM from? I have a PCM from a 1995 car that I was planning on swapping over to my car in order to be able to get tunes for it. But I hadn't heard about being able to keep your stock knock sensor while doing so. It was always recommended changing the knock sensor to the same year as the PCM. So I'm super curious where and how you learned about this. Thanks in advance!

I used this guide: https://www.z28.com/threads/obd1-resistor-mod.141119/

The guide was accurate and didn't take long, helps to have experience with a soldering iron. The PCM I used came out of a 94 A4 Z28, my car is a 96 M6 formula. Once I was done adding the resistor, I physically swapped my stock OBD2 PCM with the modified ODB1 PCM, downloaded a stock OBD1 M6 tune (finding one was the hardest part) and then made some changes (disable CAGS and VATS, reduce cooling fans turn on temps, update speedometer related values to match my gear ratio) using tunerpro rt, flashed the modified tune using winflash, updated the VIN and then started it up and took it for a ride without issue.
