The rockers don't have a limit (well...) Its the valve springs out of the Hotcam kit that are not good for the CC306. What springs do you have?

I installed the 306 cam and 'HOT CAM ROCKERS"and have not had any problems..I think you are confusing the springs and rockers..

918's are good for 600 lift according to comp. I am at 576 lift and the springs seem to be holding fine.

Re: cc306 w Hotcam rockers?

There is a lift limit on the GMPP/LT4 rockers. They were made by Crane and GM had the slot shortened up which limits the lift. .575 sounds about right, but I can't remember the exact number. If it was only over by .001 I wouldn't worry about it.

A search may net more info.

Forgot too mention that my c.a.m has extremely fast ramp rates and even though its not quite as much lift as the cc306 I bet it wallops the valve train worse

What does c.a.m stand for?

I personally have never been sold on beehive springs for high performance stuff. They always seem to break without warning and do horrible damage when they do.
